Ghana has recorded a slight increase in the institutional maternal mortality rate for 2024.

Ghana’s immunisation programme has long served as a model for many African countries, and the successful rollout of the malaria vaccine is no exception. In this regard, a delegation from Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health, together with officers from the country’s immunisation programme, is in Ghana to learn from the nation’s experience in implementing and scaling up the malaria vaccine.
